Ohio State choking this season has helped Herman's stock more than anything. I think he's a pretty talented coach, but he may struggle at SC.

I agree...
Last year after Ward took over at QB Houston was 6-2...
That is not a huge improvement over a coach who was fired.

Herman is smart to stay put. Houston right now is a better job than most P5 programs.
They've shown they'll pay, Texas doesn't have a state income tax, brand new stadium, best recruiting in the country, competition isn't fierce, and why do you want to follow a Spurrier or Beamer? Only opening right now I'd absolutely leave Houston for is USC.

So far, Herman is staying put.....The exposure that the AAC is getting is gaining tremendous momentum & supercedes P5 popularity on numerous scales.....The future is very bright for this conference, as the ACC; BIGXII; etc are losing popularity.
The AAC conference based on teams successes against P5, has as much chance as BIGXII for playoff contention. ....That's HUGE right now as it will only get better. ....AAC has gr8 coaches.....JUST WIN BABY
