Just like that Indian man who was nearly beaten to death by a cop for walking down the street in Alabama. Didn't listen to the cop's orders. Deserved what he got.

Sounds like Michael Brown... You know, just waking down the street and didn't listen to the cop's orders right?

Lack of respect is a capital offense?
What is your list on what should get a black person killed by the police?
Your white guilt is showing
As has been said, I am not white. On other ad hominem responses to my post and your very own lack of any real type of response that shows any type of critical thinking skills, I'm still waiting on an answer to my question.

If you don't like ad hominem don't lead with Non sequiturs... Nobody said a lack of respect was a capital offense, nor does his image say /imply that

The picture suggests that a lack of respect is why black men are more likely to be killed by police. Now did I mean that it was literally a capital offense? No. But it does imply that the deaths are deserved, even for a staredown.
Non sequitur is not a reason to go ad hominem BTW. If I'm off-base, he could've said it. Chances are that he doesn't even know what a non sequitur is, so ad hominem could have been the only response to something that he didn't like. Instead, it's good enough to say I have white guilt and that I'm ignorant, without even explaining why. I would've taken "He's ignorant because (enter reason pertaining to the subject here)".

So I have to answer your question to get an answer question I asked 14 hours ago?
There is only one definition of respect, pretty straightforward. The question is whether or not one has earned it or just expects it to be given.

I'd tell that black dude, "I'd play the stare game but my eyes start to water after a minute". I'll bet that would make him laugh.

And Martin tried to beat the tar out of someone with a gun. Both are terrible examples. If you use those as examples, you aren't going to get any attention except from people who agree with you.

You use that example with no context. Why was he hitting Zimmerman? He didn't just find a guy and start beating him. He was being followed by some weirdo late at night. The weirdo just happened to have a gun.
I'm way more sympathetic to his case than Michael Brown. Doing nothing wrong to being dead while one part of the country was outraged and the other part being glad you were dead is different IMO.

I am as well, although his decision to try beating the crap out of someone for following him turned out very unlucky as Zimmerman had a gun.
Brown, given his actions leading up to and during the confrontation makes it not really a surprise he wound up getting shot. He knew he was dealing with someone armed when he tried to take the gun away from the cop. The likely outcome of that failure was getting it used on him........
