Georgia Southern is a very good opponent and I think that'd be a good match-up. Almost a little scary, look what they did to PeeJay.

I think GoDaddy goes with BG regardless. They like those sexy offensive teams and BG is definitely that this season.

Projections are all guesses, i've seen 6 different ones today and NIU is in 4 different games. Just wait.

I'm telling you all the vibe I have is if SF has his way we will be playing Boise St in San Diego.


The only way that wont happen is if we lose tonight to Ohio and Detroit wants us vs a barely bowl eligible B1G team like Nebraska. I think that game is WMUs though.

Yeah, I don't think the projection people understand how the bowl negotiations really work when it comes to the G5 conferences. It's all a guessing game, but I have no doubt SF will work to get us the best matchup he can. If he can pull it off again is another thing, but he will give it his best.

A bowl w/ you UofI would be fantastic, if SF can make that happen. I will whole-heartily denounce my connection to UofI for that.

Other than that, since NIU has put itself to having a outside change for a NY6 bowl, I'm completely fine with playing a scrub team for a win. This losing streak needs to end.

Agree that Georgia Southern is a good team.

They beat PJU (WMU) 43-17 (26 points) The same differential they lost to OSU.
Georgia Southern just lost to Georgia in OT.
Their only Sunbelt loss came against the mighty Appalachian State Mountaineers.
Sunbelts #1 team.

Just punch me in the dick...sounds about as interesting as this game...

U.I. would only be fantastic because they will not play us very often.
Georgia Southern is probably a much better FB team.
Next year when WMU plays Georgia Southern and the Illini we will get a better idea how the two teams match up.

WMU's 26 point thrashing by Georgia Southern was ammunition for the MAC haters.
