Absolutely. Fuente has done things for us and been respectful. We can't keep people where they don't want to be. Btiger really needs to get a life and let things play out before stirring the pot

I'll tell you what's a sign of weakness... putting Kiffen up there as a possible replacement. He wasn't even good as a Raiders' Coach. And it's hard to stand out as bad there.

When we hired Fuente, him leaving for a better job was the EXPECTATION. This is exactly what building a program looks like, i will miss him and wish he would stay, but damn, this is a GREAT problem to have.

I'm not. It's how things work in big time college sports. We shouldn't act like he's a saint either. He'll be fine and we'll be fine.

Yup. Memphis is not on the level of Virginia Tech. One day, I hope we will be. But, this is upward move for Fuente (if VTech is his destination). While I'd love to have him back, the logical move is for him to accept the better position.
