Turkey prolonged the Iraq conflict by not letting the U.S. use the air bases We helped set up there. They also attack Our few allies in Iraq. The Kurds. Screw Turkey, It's Thanksgiving week besides !

This puts us on the wrong side of truth though.

You wouldn't be wrong in saying Turkey is a state sponsor of terrorism given how they have acted towards ISIS and other so-called moderate rebels.

The U.S. and the West can't possibly stand with Turkey in any type of confrontation with Russia.

Syrian rebels shot down the Russian rescue helicopter.

Used a TOW anti tank missile to down the SAR Helo it seems.

1 - The planes were in Syria, not Turkey.

And that should be reason for beef. Shooting down the plane is one thing but the pilots could have been returned to Russia if they survived the crash.

Interesting seeing as it's just the normal Turkish Daily News. (English version of Hurriyet) No problems on my side as I've read that site for years.. Anyway, here's the text:

Speaking to the Doğan News Agency, Turkmen Deputy Commander to the 2nd Coast Division Alpaslan Çelik had claimed that both pilots were killed.

“We shot the pilots while they were landing with parachutes. Their bodies are here,” Çelik said.

“Our friends are carrying the bodies from the other side of the mountains. Their IDs will probably be found on them,” he added.

There is video of "moderate Syrian forces," a group specifically supported by Turkey, chanting Allah Akbuhr and shooting at the pilot as he parachuted towards the ground.

Q) What have we learned from this...

A) Our not so up to date weaponry, even when operated by others (Turks), is better than current Russian weaponry operated by Russians.

So... Turkey shoots down a Russian plane, then Turkish rebels shoot the pilot (yes I saw the video, they were shooting him while he was parachuting), then (the same Turkish rebels?) shoot the rescue birds down (also saw it on a video). Do I have everything right?

The only thing that will come of this is a more concentrated effort by Russia in striking FSA positions vice ISIS. This is bad for everyone....except ISIS and Asad, those ******* get lucky at every turn.
