I suspect it will be 2 to 1 Clemson.

Lots of Clemson fans were waiting for the last batch of tickets to be released when the Coastal was decided because all of the others were purchased.

If Notre Dame loses this weekend, then I think North Carolina-Clemson becomes a playoff game....

This match up is basically a best case scenario for the ACC from a ticket buying perspective. If it didn't sell out, it would be time to revisit this entire neutral stadium concept.

Since the game moved to Charlotte in 2010 this is the first sellout. Twice it was near capacity.

8 schools are within 4 hours of Charlotte - UVa, VT, NCSU, UNC, Duke, WF, CU, and GT. (Of these Duke and WF are too small to host, UNC, UVa, and VT are really small places around the stadiums. That leaves Clemson, NC State and GT as the only three that can host on a little notice in that group, and NC State might have a parking battle with the Carolina Hurricanes, and hotel space in and around Clemson is not abundant.

Charlotte somewhat disenfranchises BC, Syracuse, Pitt, Miami, FSU, and Louisville. However, BC and Syracuse are two small and can't host on a weeks notice. Pitt and Miami would have to deal with the Steelers and the Dolphins. Louisville is an outlier but has the facility. FSU has the facility, but getting in and out of Tally is akin to getting in an out of South Dakota or some other tertiary flight location.

What FSU really needs is an Interstate connection from 75 in Ga to 10 in Tally. Given the problems associated with hurricane evacuation, I would have thought the US DOT would have made that a priority corridor.

Once Louisville finishes the expansion of PJCS it should be moved here. ;-P

The Georgia - Florida Parkway addresses the bolded today. There originally was was a planned I-175, but that along with many other expressways ended up cancelled as apart of the Freeway Revolt in the late 70's.
