Those rankings are crap. If you look at our results so far this year, no way we are that bad. Now, we could slip to that, but that will take time.

I've seen Cinci and SMU play. Both look really solid. UCONN has many returners and was solid last year, so easy bet there too.

Too bad SMU is just playing the role of spoiler. Surprised they didn't appeal just to get this year on the books. If they are really good and hand out losses to the top teams in the AAC, it just helps keep some of us out of the NCAA.

You've got Memphis missing in the first two and Houston missing in the third one.

Recruits weren't signing because of delaying the post season ban so we ripped off the band aid all at once. Special trip for the team after the season to make up for no tournament.

I'd argue UC should have been ranked to start the season, and that this is merely correcting that error.

I would agree with this as well.

I cried for a minute but this is about what I expected for Tulsa.

Gotta win tonight or it doesn't matter anyway.

Houston being talented and whatever has nothing to do with anything. Until Houston plays a real team then everything else you wrote is irrelevant. Beating up on SWAC bottom feeders means nothing. In a couple of weeks if the Cougars at least hang tough with LSU then you will have a better idea about your club.

Damn. Everybody underperformed.

Tulsa underperformed by 7 points, losing by 8.
East Carolina underperformed by 14 points, losing by 25.
Memphis underperformed by 15 points, losing by 4.

Who was it that was saying ECU would be a Top 100 club this year? San Diego St is barely Top 100. They are 3-2 after losing at home to Arkansas-Little Rock.

Bulls***. Cincy should have been ranked to start the season. NCAA tournament team 5 straight years, went to the 3rd round of the tourney last year and gave UK all they could handle, returned our top 6 scorers and added two 4-star freshmen who are playing great so far. Respect is earned, not given. Just because we haven't gotten into the meat of our schedule doesn't mean we don't deserve to be ranked. Our track record in the Mick Cronin era and the amount of talent we return from a good team is why we are ranked. Don't blame us because you think Tulsa is under-ranked.

You said it so much better than I. Don't be playing that UC hasn't played anyone card. They have curb stomped everyone so far. This is a top 15 team this year with UCONN.
