Why would the DOD downplay the threat and/or strength of ISIS? By writing it in a report, does not make it so. This is something that can come back and bite you in the ass.

You think they would be as accurate as possible not pandering either way to support their beliefs and desires.

The threat of ISIS (to the United States) is overhyped.

At this point, I agree but one of their goals is to bring down our economy (way of life). doesn't take much to cripple an economy (see France, tourism is down significantly). when 9/11 happened, it was the match that ignited our recession. It can happen again.

You don't have to read exactly what Obama says lol. Whoever the next President is, a major pre-requisite should be "is able to serve as commander-in-chief". Commander-in-chief has a job status of vacant right now.

Also, the doctoring of intelligence reports makes perfect sense. It all fits Obama's political narrative that he is the savior of the world, same with the stand down at Benghazi, etc. This is the most toxic political divisive President we have ever had. In my opinion, he should not be allowed to serve this last year, the country can literally not afford another year of this, both in finances and body count.

Changing reports does not change the actual situation. Obama said ISIS was "contained", 3 hours later, 129 dead in Paris attacks. Now he has plausible deniability because the reports he saw from the DOD were changed but it still doesn't change the fact that 129 people were killed in Paris. Doctoring reports does not make the situation better or worse just makes you look dumb if you don't have more accurate facts.

Islamic terrorists threaten the lives of Americans daily. We have done a pretty good job overall of defending the homeland. When you have cancer you have to remove it or kill it. The cancer from these Islamic terrorists has to be treated the same way. These terrorists have cost us billions of dollars. Billions of wasted manpower hours that could have been used more productively.

The Bush administration laid an incredible foundation to combat terror, not a huge fan of Bush but even I have to admit that, remarkable job. Its funny how we have been kept safe since 9/11, but now this administration wants to bring the refugee population into this country which will be guaranteed to have ISIS operatives or sympathizers in it. Any terrorist attack from anyone in this refugee population would result in blood on the hands of Obama.

Body count? How many US soldiers died so we could invade Iraq under the guise of incorrect intelligence?
