Love these "high-profile" CBS Sports Network games this program has earned.

I see UC playing better this week, but I am hesitant to pick them to win. I do think they will salvage some sense of pride, but probably won't be enough in Greenville.

And if whispers I've heard about team dissension and disunity hold a shred of truth, now would be the time for player suspensions (or dismissals). The ECU game itself may be essentially meaningless but send a message this week in hopes of recovering the team for a better bowl performance and to set the stage for team discipline next season.

I think UC has given up. If ECU starts strong like USF did it won't be a contest.

I will be at the in-laws, with 20-30 people around. I will give the Bearcats a chance to show they came to play, but if they start crapping the bed I will bow to public demand and turn the television to the OSU-Michigan game.

Done predicting UC wins on the road at this point... Only win was against a Miami team that's maybe been the worst program in college football for the past decade... and that was too close. Talent wise UC should win... and they've generally beaten teams they have a big talent edge over with Tuberville in charge, but just not picking them on the road.

ECU's coaching staff is bad but I agree that picking UC to win on the road doesn't make sense if you look at the track record. I keep hoping that they put it together, play for some pride and get a big win.

Yeah, I probably should have the scores higher. I was thinking more in terms of margin.

The UC fans have quit. UC will get a bowl invite because there are 80 slots with only 71 eligible and 14 possibles but likely under 80 will make 6 wins. Almost no UC fans will go bowling. I have been to every bowl since Birmingham but will not go this year. Crappy bowl, crappy team, crappy HC.

The HC has given up. He did at BYU and nothing has changed.
