Wifi upgrade
I have comcast Internet. It's been slow lately particularly when streaming. iPhones were constantly switching off wifi and on to LTE, to the point I was always close to using up my data (8g). Upgraded my modem 6 months ago as well as my net speed.
Between iPhones, vonage, desktop, laptop, iPad, and two Apple TV streaming devices a lot of stuff was running through the wifi which was a 4 year old Linksys. I have an app that checks wifi speeds and they tended to fluctuate. Lot of wifi traffic in the neighborhood as well.
Did some research and most suggested upgrading to 2.4-5g wifi.
Bought a mid grade Netgear $150.
Everything is way faster, but the biggest dif is Netflix, ESPNwatch streaming on Apple TV. It's seamless. No cutouts. Fast forwards don't buffer at all.
If your ESPN3 through AppleTV, Chromcast, or another device lags at times I suggest you upgrade your wifi. Maybe I'm behind the curve on this, but I was shocked at the improvement.
