Once again, another Toledo fan shows us a great attitude and what class is all about. I truly love the Toledo fans on this board for the class and dignity they always show. We could all learn something from them.

Ah you haven't met UofToledo fans yet I see haha. Lets see how much class they have if NIU beats Ohio, that will be the true test. If NIU wins I know at 10pm Tuesday night, the MAC main board is going to turn into an NIU roast because of what NIU supposedly "stole" from the MAC by shutting Toledo out of an Access Bowl. I just find it funny because I don't remember that outrage when BG stole it from NIU in 2013. Selectively memory I guess, or the MAC Ohio entitlement factor. In my view Id rather have a conference that competes every game than what we saw on Saturday in Memphis taking one for the conference by laying down to shut out South Florida.

If NIU beats OU, Toledo has WMU on Friday and will play in some Bowl game. If NIU loses to OU, Toledo has WMU on Friday and will play in
some Bowl game. No Rocket fan in their right mind would believe NIU
stole anything.

Toledo is the only MAC team with a slim shot at an Access Bowl, of course UConn has to beat Temple which wont happen, but I know many will blame NIU for ending Toledo's Access hopes.

Toledo can only blame Toledo for losing an outside shot at the Access Bowl. NIU has owned the Rockets, so if the Huskies make it to Detroit, I will once again be an NIU fan.

I am really having a hard time getting a grip on Ohio. They get destroyed 3 games in a row by WMU, Buffalo and BG and the last 2 games fairly good wins against Kent St. and Ball State. It looks to me like they play much better at home (their last 2 games) than on the road (Buffalo and BG and only a 2 point win at Akron). The only big loss they had at home was WMU. I am going with Ohio is not a good road team and we win bigger! I suppose the one thing that could mess up my view is they had significant injuries in the 3 games being destroyed loosing streak? Ohio only gives 164 yard per game rushing; not tomorrow - we hang 300 + yards rushing on them!

Looks like the big donors will have to park with the pee-ons this week.

There is a big difference between your posts and mine in that you personally attack, say Toledo sucks, tell me I am a POS, etc. I don't personally attack any NIU fans. For the record, I have always been very complimentary about Coach Carey, Very complimentary about the NIU football team, and very complimentary about your athletic director with post after post after post with no exceptions. Like you said when issues about NIU including financial issues or attendance issues are posted I have commented on those. I guess you are saying that you are only allowed to talk about those issues but other people better not do the same. Nobody wants to hear that attendance isn't good and nobody wants to hear that their University is having financial trouble, but I am not the only one saying that and again not attacking or saying NIU sucks. I know that the President and Athletic Director at NIU are working very hard to change all that under tough circumstances. If you want to take that out on me then I cant control that, but I wont let what people say control me to the point that I attack them and become an embarrassment to my fellow fans.

When NIU fans post about attendance at football and basketball games or something about the state of Illinois and how it relates to NIU finances are posted I have posted that those are very concerning items and the reasons why, but never once attacking anyone or saying NIU sucks. What I usually get back from a few follks is that the loss to NIU must be eating me up but someone calling me a POS is new.
