Bowl Projections
Looking at Bowl projections it is predicted we will be playing App State in Go Daddy Bowl. I am rooting for a date with Boise State or access bowl, but I am not holding too much hope for that.

RE: Bowl Projections
The one I looked at had Toledo as the MAC #1 seed, so I take little credence in them. We take care of business Tuesday and there is no way Toledo gets that first slot.

RE: Bowl Projections
Even though I would love to play any P5 team, I wouldn't mind a game against Appalachian State. They have been a solid team this year and I don't recall the Huskies ever playing them.

I want Boise St. Would be a good game and draw IMO. who knows maybe Frazier would be able to set up a 1-1 down the road after it too

RE: Bowl Projections
The GMAC / Go Daddy used to be a top MAC game when CUSA had the tie-in and then during the early years of the Sun Belt tie-in. The problem with that game now is that it is basically an FCS game and yet they still want the MAC to commit its #1 or #2. I would rather see NIU play a MWC or CUSA #3 or #4 like Boise / Colorado State / Nevada or Southern Miss / Middle Tennessee than Sun Belt #1 or #2 in Mobile. That game should be moved down the MAC pecking order.

That's why I hate the bowl system so much and its not just unique to the MAC, sometimes its better to not be as good and you get a better matchup. Around here if you criticize the bowl system , people jump on you like like a radical Islamist just heard you making fun of Muhammed.

Agreed, App State isn't exactly like Marshall and ECU of 01. Only good thing about App State is that you'd hope it'd end NIUs bowl drought

For those Huskie fans that are happy with the status quo - is that matchup enough to change your minds about the future of our program?

Someone shoot me

I'd give my favorite bobcat shirt for a chance at the GoDaddy and Appetizer St.

It goes to show one man's ceiling is another mans floor. Pathetic as it is to say.
