School pride I guess. That is one thing I love about my alma mater...never a dull moment throughout the year. We're always competing for a championship in some sport.

Keep this in mind cuseroc, Carolina has more top ten finishes in the Directors Cup than the rest of the ACC combined (including Notre Dame).

Thanks to you guys repeatedly telling us this, I was already aware of that point. But that's great for UNC and I'm glad that we now share a conference with such an accomplished AD. I think its impressive that you guys have that much interest to keep up with all that data regarding your Olympic sports. So there was no offense intended in my original post on the matter. I personally don't have much interest in those other sports but am always happy to hear when SU does well or win a championship. My largest area of interest is the revenue sports though, since those are the sports that help to fund the Olympic sports. But I would much rather that SU win championships in the two revenue sports than any other sport.

Olympic sports are pretty big deal at UNC especially to alums. The recent announcement of a IPF also includes a full renovation of the soccer/lacrosse & field hockey stadium. The last addition Kenan stadium also included space for Olympic sports including a 15,000 sq ft weight room

Congrats. It's nice to see well-rounded Athletic Departments and fans that follow and/or show interest in an array of their school's sports.

Is this the first field hockey national championship for Cuse? Congrats.
