Call the police from the wrong neighborhood, and you'll wait about 45 mins to 3 hours before there is any response. The police know the evil in some of those places, and they don't go there as a means to protect their own lives.

I drove through Jackson a few times. I didn't think it was that bad of a city. It just looked a bit run down and tired - like a city that was once special but isn't anymore.
