It was the Houston game..
That's the one.You up 33-17 in the 4th quarter then allow 17 straight and then miss that field goal..
That's the one not the Navy loss but last week...Now it's about pride and I see a win against SMU then the Birmingham Bowl vs Arkansas...

That would be an effective salve for easing a lot of pain. The Houston loss was gut-wrencher, for sure. As Calkins stated in a very fine article last week, suffering such painful losses eventually must be endured by EVERY fan of EVERY school. FORGET the losses (as quickly as possible) and CELEBRATE the wins. Wins over SMU and then an SEC school in B'ham would taste mighty sweet and kick off some serious celebrating for us all.

Each to his own - I would stay two nights in Birmingham relaxing and making merry with family, friends, food and drink.
