It's time for the playoffs! A better script couldn't have been written with the two highest ranked teams in the East, and the two best teams in the west, fighting it out on the field for all the marbles. This is fun!!

But that's not all: ODU can claim Bowl-eligible status with a win at home against FAU, and as we saw last week, that's no sure thing. FIU's season is over.

As for our "LITS CHAMP", we'll have to await one more week to crown the winner as 4 other "pickers" are still -- mathematically -- still in the hunt. But WKUFan518 will really have to choke to let those other four guys back in the race. The title, and all that goes with it, is his to lose!

Southern Miss @ LaTech - I have no idea, but will go with the more seasoned Bulldogs at home.
FAU @ Old Dominion - Owls perfectly capable of spoiling ODU's eligibility, but Monarchs will prevail, narrowly
Middle Tennessee @ UTSA - Although Runners playing better, so is MT.
Charlotte @ Rice - I don't know what to think about Rice, but...

I've picked ODU several times this year, but the last few weeks FAU has beaten FIU handily, lost to MTSU by a touchdown and almost beat #8 Florida. FAU is finally living up to preseason expectations and this is going to be a tough game for ODU.

Even with ODU playing at home FAU might still be favored by 3 or a pick'em:

Southern Miss @ LaTech - Calling an upset, Just have feeling Southern Miss shocks the CUSA and wins this game.
FAU @ Old Dominion - FAU played their bowl game yesterday, didnt surprise me one bit the way they played Florida, really puzzling they only have 2 wins, however I think ODU does just enough to get the win
Middle Tennessee @ UTSA - LIke WKU, MTSU just does not lose in Novemember
Charlotte @ Rice -Ha, not feeling great about it but will go with Rice hesitantly, seems like players from RIce just want the season to end
UTEP @ North Texas -tough one to call...

Possibly hardest week to pick by far this season, a lot of very evenly matched teams...

WKU - Too much fire power. They win by 2-3 TD's
La Tech squeaks by a very solid USM team.

BTW, Monken should get COTY. jmo.

It will be interesting to see how both WKU and Tech rebuild for 2016. Both have heavy losses after this year. USM and Marshall seem to be early front runners in 2016.

Marshall @ WKU Yes, a homer pick. It's isn't impossible for the Herd to beat WKU AND the Herd has a chip on its shoulder from last year. That said, I wouldn't be surprised if WKU wins by 14 or more.

USM @ LaTech As much as I would love to see USM get the win, I don't think they do it on LaTech's home field.

FAU @ ODU Don't think ODU can handle the pressure of Bowl eligibility riding on this game. Wilder will do something incredibly stupid to lose it for the Monarchs.

MTSU @ UTSA MTSU has been playing well, but more often than not, the trip to Texas is a difficult one.

UTEP @ UTSA The miners put the Slightly Terse Green and their season out of their misery.
