With all the recent headlines about the lack of diversity in Hollywood it has become evident that the "old ways" are not going to change. There are many wonderful minority actors out there who should get their due and it looks like the Oscar race is as white as the snow in Chicago right now.
Another issue I take offense to is with the holidays coming up and all the Christmas commercials I have seen on tv thus far there have only been white men portraying Santa Claus. I think it is time to start showing more diversity and why not have an African-American or Hispanic Santa? I know I am not the only one who is sick of how white Hollywood has become. I want diversity and I want it now.

Wasn't St. Nicholas a Norwegian? I'm hispanic and I wouldn't want a Mexican santa. Some things should be left as they are. Anyway, if you place a Hispanic as santa all the people will think Santa was in Acapulco getting a tan so nothing would change. LOL

We have the best time, once or twice a week, having a couple beers and just ragging on each other and his Ricanness, my honkeyness. Good times, lot's of laughs.
