We need to try and beat SMU, win a bowl game, sign CJF and score BIG in recruiting in the off season.

If Temple is so good, how did they get stomped by middle of pack USF team? And don't bring up USF/Cincy game as they aren't any good at all.

Um, USF has turned it around after our win against them, going 6-1 with the one loss to Navy (29-17).

So, USF turned it around. We didn't.

Sounds right.

We've turned the bus off of a cliff.

USF knew how to exploit our (slow) LBers. They run a lot on the edges, have a lot of motion, and have a ton more athletes than we do.

And at this point, that doesn't mean anything.

A season takes it toll. We weren't very deep this year.

RE: The Temple Defeat Effect
The past 3 games we were playing not to lose on both sides of the ball. Not many deep passes to stretch the defense and playing too safe on defense.

I never played not to lose game modes well. I just wanted to get the hell outa there and go home.
