I think we need to stretch the D a bit.

defense is taking away the deep ball, giving us short passes and runs up middle.. until we can make them pay for this it will be difficult to throw deep a lot

Well, if they are already taking away the long ball and we cant run or execute short, we are screwed.

Paxton's mobility is huge for our offense. If he can't move around its going to be tough

Two dropped passes probably left 8 points on the field

Our receivers just have to catch the ball... 1st possession ended because of a drop on a perfect pass. Another possession Cross has a walk in TD but drops the ball and then late in the half another drop by Jones on a perfect pass 30 yards down the field. Those were all three game changing drops on perfect passes. Tough to score when you are doing that. Play calling has been on point, up to the players to make the plays though.

He has definitely cut down on running as the season has gone on.

I do not understand our play calling on offense. I know we need to run but seems our short pass game needs to used more to break things loose

It doesn't help when we run the first 2 plays, and then try to get 8-10 yards on 3rd down either. Very bad play calling with no aggressiveness at all to go down field to get back in the game, much less win it.

Second half play calling has been atrocious.

Offense hasn't played both halves since Tulsa. Took first half off against Tulane and second half off the past three games.

232 total freaking yards for game.
