I still care. Another winning season still matters to me. I'll be out at the Bdubs in Rookwood watching...probably surrounded by OSU fans watch OSU/Michigan.
I'll still watch the game because I want to see how the team responds after the ass beatdown from last week. If it's a garbage effort then I'll watch osu/meechigan. The only thing this game will cost me to watch is my time and frustration so I can stomach that for now. Besides, I went to Fantasy Island and picked the Cats to win this game since everyone is picking them to lose (save for a few delusional fans). But hey, I'm still trying to move up in the game prediction final standings..."so I got that going for me, which is nice."
Time and frustration is too damned expensive in my opportunity cost evaluation when it comes to this staff. I'm spending a productive day with my son who is home from college. I'll check in here to see how awesome this big win was later.

I might be on an island, but that matters to me.
I know people have made up their mind in either direction, but these last 2 games will say a lot about whether it makes sense for CTT to be the guy to take this team into next season.
I care too. UC hasn't had five winning years in a row since the 1950's. If Tuberville was fired, it would justified based on last Friday's performance alone. I am not removing my support of the team based on the results of last friday or even the last three years.

Youre not a real fan unless you stop caring. Gawd! Go stain your deck or something instead of watching the game, thats REAL fandom.
Meanwhile at the Tiddlywinks Greater Cincinnati Pairs Invitational held on the UC campus....the UC-ECU football game is playing on the high def wall mounted tv in the background.
"I'm telling you...those are not regulation size winks. Get the tournament official over here for a ruling, please!"
We shall see soon enough. Talk is cheap and results are expensive...

“We’re looking forward to getting back out on the field because that was something we were definitely not proud of, coaching or playing, last week.”
Tommy Tuberville
Cincinnati coach
For Cincinnati’s football team, at least part of its motivation for Saturday’s game against East Carolina in Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium is to make up for the embarrassment of what happened last week on national television.
The Bearcats trailed South Florida 51-3 going into halftime last Friday night in what was ultimately a 65-27 win for the surging Bulls. It led to a team meeting on Sunday in which veteran Cincinnati coach Tommy Tuberville stressed to his players how they can make up for the lopsided defeat to the Bulls, who have maybe been the American Athletic Conference’s surprise team thanks to six wins in its last seven games.
“The mood is not as great as you would like for it to be, but you want (the players) to understand that you never accept the way we played,” Tuberville said Monday. “You never accept it whether you lose by 30 points or one point, and that’s happened around here for a long time.

Ok. Someone please tell me what the hell this idiot means. Does he mean UC football for a long time has accepted this kind of **** prior to his checked out ass showing up or just during his tepid tenure...which in itself would be an admission that would justify firing.
His interviews are infuriating. He needs a censor on staff to help before he opens up his fool mouth. UC did not accept this crap until he got here and accepted it himself.

Nah... I say give the man as much rope as he needs.
What is telling is that he is fast running out of clichés and other excuses to fall back on. Watching his pressers is like watching Nuke LaLouche (Tim Robbins) in "Bull Durham." Tommy needs someone to feed him some new clichés because he's burned through the list if we're down to "a culture of losing" excuse.
UCF got ***** slapped by USF but trailed only by 28 (not 48) at half. UCF actually gang tackled. UCF made USF work down the field versus UC giving up long strikes.
Did you see the attendance? The stands were empty. Yes I know UCF was winless but why weren't USF fans filing the stadium? Orlando is 80-90 minutes away. Eat turkey early, jump in the car at 5 any be at the game.

UCF actually forced USF's first team to punt which we were unable to do.
