Some of it is a crapshoot but part of it is exposing the biggest programs to chances to be beaten that mostly doesn't exist in college football.

No question that is true. I love the NCAA tournament and have for more than 40 years, but there is a crapshoot element because it's one and done.

For example, I hate Kentucky, but they were obviously the best team last year. Had they played Wisconsin or Duke or anyone else in an NBA-type best of 7 series, there's no doubt they win. But the tournament is set up for upsets. But as you note, college football isn't.

And its a game with 5 players, not 22 + Kickers. One hot player can make a huge difference in basketball.

And the games are short, which benefits the underdog. A bad team can have 10 hot minutes and a good one ten bad minutes and the game can be won/lost.

There is trouble in Columbus. Some of the starters are not happy what went down, and they are starting to questioned Urban's play calling. They took to Twitter slamming their coaches and all that in the lost.

I have little trouble finding sympathy with a team that has lost 2 out of their last 25 games. Talk about not handling adversity well.

Getting uglier. Sounds some players are quitting. Elliott said last night was his last game for Ohio State.

That kind of player egotism is one quite strong explainer of how such a "talented group of athletes" has under-performed all season, until they came up against a defense good enough that under-performing but winning anyway just was not an option.

It could be that the VA Tech loss last year was the best thing to happen to that team, since they then had to go out and vindicate their high opinion of themselves, which not a lot of people shared.

If they don't get their {censored} {censored} bull-shyte together, they are going to give Harbaugh the same kind of early lift that Bo got at the start of the Ten Year War.

What he said was that it was his last game in The Horseshoe because Ohio State's last season game is at Michigan. He said he isn't coming back next year and Cardale has seemingly said the same thing. I understand Elliot but Cardale didn't do so well this year. Much of his mystique is gone. He will get drafted but he wont be a high first rounder this time around. He should either come back, or if he is that mad then he should transfer and get one year somewhere else.

Overall though they aren't making themselves look good by throwing the coaches under the bus like this. They look like a bunch of prima donna's that cant handle this adversity. Well, this happens in the NFL quite often. Their stock may drop due to this.
