I would, except I don't want to threadjack the discussion. LSU is not the subject of this thread.
So, under your logic, only the G5 schools are causing the problem, not the P5 schools. Hmmm.
I didn't say that. My point is that talking about different schools and what these entities may or may not be doing is being disrespectful to the topic of this thread. I don't want to violate forum rules on threadjacking, nor do I want to disrespect the OP for hijacking his/her thread.
I was never very good at English. Would this be talking about yourself in the 2nd person? Third person is sexy, and demonstrates machismo. 2nd person sounds like you have a bad memory.

Let's not derail the thread further than it already is.

I don't get it...they have P6 money. And its football, the biggest attended sporting event on campus. How's that being irresponsible.
If they were paying the women's volleyball coach serious money, that would be irresponsible.

The only thing these schools did was to overinflate the value of these 2 head coaches, who will likely be poached anyways. This is how runaway inflation is maintained. We've seen this with the costs exploding in college tuition and in healthcare. I'm disappointed in these schools. I expected more than this...
If you were an alumnus or fan of either of these schools you would be thrilled.
I think it's great that the AAC has some institutions that are throwing money around to try to improve their programs. It improves college football and challenges the P5/G5 dichotomy.
