Despite being victors of their last 2 games (and the Panthers losers of 2 out of their last 3) the Jags are three point dogs in Atlanta Saturday. Though Georiga State did dominate the same Texas State squad that pulled a fast on USA earlier this season, I still think South Al has a wee bit more balance & with one game away from bowl elgibilty will find a way to win a squeaker in the Dome

Not much to say here; Tigers may come out a little lethargic at first but wouldn't be surprised if Auburn has the game well in hand before halftime (beginning of 3rd quarter at the latest)

New Mexico State @ Louisiana Lafayette
This is an intriguing match up for a couple of reasons; for starter, statistically speaking the Aggies have been much more productive out-gaining the Cajuns 239-200 passing and only lag behind Lafayette by a single yard in the rushing department, 192-191 a game. While it's been a rather disappointing year for both squads (Especially for the Cajun faithful) they still have a shot at becoming bowl eligible but they need to win out. The Aggies, despite being battered and bruised all season have won 2 straight and look to continue their recent upswing. Despite being 17 point favorites at home, I look for the Aggies to give the Cajuns a back and forth dogfight but Louisiana Lafayette defense will help seal a tight victory.

Georgia Southern @ Georgia
Certainly a match up I'm sure most Eagles faithful have waited a long time for, they couldn't have caught this Dawg squad at a better time as Georgia certainly seems to be reeling (Despite being 7-3). Georgia Southern already has a taste of knocking off a perennial SEC squad (Florida) and if Georgia isn't careful could become the next notch on the ole victory belt. Richt will certainly be aware and he'll have Georgia in the right mindset.

If it's a 10 point game...that's a victory in my eyes as it continues to show progress...similar to last years "loss" to Georgia Tech (I use quotes because that call in the 4th quarter stole the game)
