I think it's nuts for NIU to even PLAY Eureka. Eureka College is - So small the high school in my town of 16,000 people has more students! I can barely even think of them as a real college although they do have a football team...unlike Bradley. lol

I'm sure the Eureka kids are looking forward to playing the bigger NIU school. Eureka has about 600 less students than Presbyterian did and we played them in football. It's a mismatch but there are plenty of those around. Eureka will have a couple guys that can shoot well but won't be athletic and will lack size. NIU has so many young players that they just need to play and have some success. It will help them later in the season. Confidence is a powerful thing in sports!

I am getting anxious for that Idaho game, that will be a nice road test to see where this team is at. Statistically, Massy has it as close to a 50/50 game in terms of win/loss. Sure would be great for this team to get the flavor of road success early.

I didn't see this before, but a few days ago Akron just beat up on the Razorbacks, good grief.

A guy I know from high school plays for Eureka. This should be interesting.

Yep it counts, I don't think it does for things like RPI calculations though, not sure. But for W/L record it does. When you consider just how crazy good and deep the MAC is this year, I think we will look back and forgive a few easier games on the non-conf schedule. Heck the Big 10 has padded its W/L record for years like that.

Its not ranked as high as the 2nd best mid major so far this year behind the WCC like last year, but it also is not nearly as bad as the MVC, right now MVC checking in at #23 for conference rank. Ouch lol

Antioch is under about 7 inches right now. I know the heavy band was between like Genoa and Antioch. I know some places in Chicago are still raining occasionally

Looks like no stream for the game, hopefully its a boring NIU win anyway!

NIU should win by 50. But we'll see.

This is an important game. It should be on ESPN or ESPN 2. It's not on either probably because it's a Saturday game. This is upsetting! This is why we need more weekday games! What are our fans and potential recruits across the nation going to do now?

26-14 NIU with 10:15 to play in 1st half, sounds like too many easy baskets for Eureka
