We joined the Big East, which then changes names and becomes the new C-USA - i.e. best conference outside of the big boys.

With our luck, we'll get into the BIG 12, be congratulated with a big billboard somewhere in the middle of Texas, then all the good teams will bail and we're right back we're started. C-USA 3.0.

And just what kind of football were we playing when we joined? Bottom of the barrel. Anyhow the Big East was started as a basketball first conference and this is one reason the Catholic schools left.

What’s sucky is you starting these crazy threads not only here, but on the main conference board too.

It was a good conference when they were beating on each other. Now that they can't do that we see what they are
