Congrats on your year. You have really made noise this year, and your team is a big part of the collective noise the AAC made with 4 teams ranked.

That being said, is this season better for you (more satisfying, if you will) than last year's shared Championship season.

What if Temple rolls over you tomorrow? How will you feel about your year then?

We all saw the implosion of your fan base last week, after that brutal loss to Houston. What I'm wondering is how much will a loss tomorrow hurt you guys? After all, you are not playing for a Championship anymore, or a New Years Day Bowl... However, you are still ranked...

If you do lose, Fuente is more likely to stay around. So, that may be a good thing for you.

Temple still has a lot to play for and your ranking would be a nice addition to the resume. I have immense respect for you guys and I would hate for a loss tomorrow to cause you to lose your joy over this season.

It would depend on 1) our bowl opponent and 2) did we win the bowl?

That said, my gut says Memphis won't lose 3 straight...

As a Temple fan, I'm going to flip this question - if we lose to Memphis, how does that affect my perception of the season? I will be disappointed as always after a loss, but our season has been a huge success to date: beat psu, Game Day, great game against ND, ranked for 3 weeks, we would be 5-2 in conference, attendance up. 8-4 after being 7-0 would suck, 9-3 much better. Of course I believe we win our last 2.

Definitely isn't gonna be our best season ever. That would be 1963, when we went 9-0-1 and were ranked #14 at the end of the season. Now, we did climb to #13 this season, but didn't stick. It will be another good season, win or lose Saturday. Maybe the 2 best back to back seasons ever, especially if we win our bowl game.

Agree, but we apparently weren't ranked that year, for whatever reason. Plus, I personally remember 1963, but not 1938.

Agree on the latter, too. It will be close, but I consider 9-0-1 better than 11-2.

Either way, definitely the best 2 back-to-back seasons.

As I said last Friday (when Memphis was 8-1):

"Just eight short days until Memphis is 8-3".

I think a Memphis team that loses to Temple, beats SMU, and wins a bowl game to go 10-3 (same as last year) would not be better than last year's conference co-title team.

I think that a Memphis team that beats Temple, beats SMU, and wins a bowl game to go 11-2 would be better than last years team despite the lack of a conference title.

They would then be the best years I remember (born 1978).

In any respect, this season is already a strong success and should be appreciated as such.

Houston, Navy, and Temple have also all had successful seasons regardless of how the rest of the season plays out.

Lots to like this year in the AAC. I'm happy, most other fan bases have had decent years against expectations, and UCF is too strong to stay down long.

Good year for all.

I'm concerned about Memphis, that's for sure. This will be a huge challenge.

I just want to say this: after the greatness the AAC has achieved this season with hopes of a 12-0 Houston playing a 12-0 Temple in the AAC Championship game....It won't feel the same watching Navy playing an 8-4 USF in the title game this year. Then watching USF win and losing the access bowl to a MAC team or 10-3 Air Force or 10-3 San Diego St. That would be the worst possible disaster I can think of after such a phenomenal season this conference had. USF, you've got perfect timing haha ...good for you guys, if not good for Houston, Temple and Memphis. Cheers

If Temple (who currently leads 21-12 with 13 minutes left) hangs onto win, will they be back in the top 25?

They would have losses to ranked ND and a red hot USF team, and wins over Memphis & Penn State.
