Tremendous job by Clark to even get some of these guys to visit campus. Maybe our 2 commits at Iowa Western can convince Williams to come to UAB.

I can't wait for December. It's getting harder to contain my excitement. The commits look great, I just hope they all sign!! Clark and crew are beasts.

A visit is a good thing, but let's not overlook that he's already committed to TCU. That's some tough competition to beat.

I believe a lot of the kids HC Clark is getting buy into the idea that UaB is making history and they want to be part of it. They want to be part of the return of the program, the construction of the new facilities on campus, the student and community support and enthusiasm and the new stadium. Exciting times. #GoBlazers

I think that they look around at the other guys signing and see the quality and want to be a part of it. It also helps that high end JUCOs have an extremely good shot at a starting job.

Their message boards said it also had to do with his grades.

"as well" = "also"

Having the year off means that they can rehab both grades and physical injuries without burning eligibility. That's also a plus, I would think.
