I'm always glad in a win. I'm sad that the same people, yeah you 1983, continually post crap where the only intent is to inflame the unwashed masses. Give it a few hours and you should be able to enjoy the fruits of your labor.

Most everyone knows that people are all over the board on this lame situation. Some folks can't separate the players from the coach, and some can. No biggie.

Put simply, there are Tiger fans who love it every time JP loses, and there are Tiger fans who love it every time we win--not to mention all the ones torn apart in between. Ain't no skin off my teefs.

But when I fly in to see my Tigers play this season, any Tiger fans rooting for us to lose should expect
no mercy from me.

The win makes me happy. Our play in the first 10 minutes made me sad.

No TRUE Tiger fan ever roots for us to lose, a lot of those on again off again types might but not anyone who really loves the Tigers.

There were certain posts made after our victory causing confusion about the nature of people's feeling about the win. Also, I am under the impression that some posters do not want wins because each one helps Pastner retain his job. Losing to Grambling St would hasten his exit.

Therefore, I believe I asked a legitimate question. I appreciate everyone's comments - even those not addressing the question because they are enlightening in their own way. Discussion is the fodder of messageboards.

Oh, I get now. Sorry, but my brain is just not wired that way. I do remember 1 or 2 stating that they hope we lose every game so Pastner leaves. That's why I asked for clarification, now I get it and I get where you're question is coming from. Thanks.

I'm still gonna bite. I don't think we'll see much of anything different this year as opposed to the other 6 years. Same coach, same results. Some people are ok with it, and some aren't.
