I'm still gonna bite. I don't think we'll see much of anything different this year as opposed to the other 6 years. Same coach, same results. Some people are ok with it, and some aren't.

Ok. I'm neither right now. Apathy has set in. I'm looking ahead for a new beginning. All I can see right now are re-runs. I hope it changes. My feelings that is.

This program reminds me of the perpetual 8-8 team in football. Not good enough to make the playoffs and not bad enough to get a good draft pick. Hard to get your hopes up.

I see some things that make me feel somewhat optimistic and I see some things that remind me of how we got to where we are now.

I would never be sad about a win. Just not excited about it either.

Thanks for your reply. By definition, apathy setting in means you would not bother to open the thread or respond to it. I am not sure of the reason you are in this thread, but you have a perfect right to post as you wish within the AUP as enforced by the Mods.

In summary, every person choosing to respond to the question was happy with the Tiger victory yesterday.

It is possible to be happy (relieved) with a win, while simultaneously unhappy with the way that the team performed. I'm definitely glad we got the win, but I do not feel like we played particularly well last night.

Sometimes victories and loses don't have nuttin to do with nuttin.

I know you are asking specifically about Grambling, but how we played against OU made me ecstatic! I feel about the bball team much like I use to feel about the football team- at this point, I'm looking for effort and signs we know what in the hell we are doing. Not sure what asking Tigers fans if they are happy about wins by the Tigers is supposed to get for responses. I'd assume 100% happy is the norm for any fanbase...
