LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Calipari, who raised the program profile but prolifically left Josh a program with 3 players and NCAA sanctions won 150 of his first 210 games at Memphis.
Pastner, who inherited the mess left by Calipari has now won 150 games in his first 209 games while graduating his players, keeping them out of trouble and staying in good graces with the NCAA.
sure...against CUSA. You ruled a mostly one bid conf big whoop
whats his record vs top 25?
That's what most Memphis fans have been trying to say for a while now. Coach Cal gave Pastner the keys to a corvette. Although we lost some players to Cal's departure, we still have a BRAND NAME and that brand was one of the strongest brands during that time.
Some Pastner fans bring up wins and making the tournament while in C-USA. That means nothing! We had the best facilities, tradition, and resources than all the teams in C-USA. We had one of the most known brands as most teams in the country, no good coach would have been challenged in that old C-USA league, period.
Most fans respect what Coach Cal did because he produced in the tournament and expected to be successful when it counted.
Most fans have given up on Coach Pastner because when you have a senior-laden team get blown out in the tournament, something is wrong with the system provided by the coach.

lol?
How many of those wins were in CUSA?! lol
his record vs the top 25 is crap.
What matters to me is we have played Cindy in one revenue sport so far this season and recorded a W.

RE: Pastner
It's early but we look like a decent team this year. A real shot at the Tournament based on what I've seen to date.
