RE: Iverson
As I have always said...Iverson, King and Nichols were big losses for Josh (The core of that class 3 years ago)...They weren't just some guys who couldn't play.

Iverson would be our 2nd/3rd best player right now on this team.

Not sure I agree with that, but even so...at the time he was at Memphis, he was a bad fit and had to go.

Seems folks say that about EVERY transfer out of the program.

Danny Hurley seems to have no problems maximizing player ability.

I don't think his skills were a bad fit, he had a personality that Josh had a hard time managing. Too much dog in him.

When you duke it out with an assistant coach, it's probably best to move on.

Nah

It's time to shake hands and make up, drink a beer together, then direct that anger at an opponent.

He's obviously still playing loose with the ball at 3 turns/game. Throwing bricks at the FT line - 51%. Overall his numbers are up though with more playing time. However, we can't tell from these stats if he's playing defense.

Still cut from the Spoon mold. Not really a big man, OK on the perimeter.

Iba Camara had a 14-18 game against Holy Cross. Maybe he would be our best player too.

RE: Iverson
Josh mishandled Iverson from day one. What if he had been used like the Lawson's? I don't see either of them getting yanked after missing a wide open 3 or turning it over driving into traffic.

Either A. Josh has learned something

Or

B. Iverson didn't have a relative on the bench

His numbers reveal that he's the same player he was here. He's just playing more. With Iverson we would have had too many mouths to feed. If I remember correctly JP made that decision before Nichols left.

LOL...So if he was this good last year it is a travesty that he did not get to play more while he was here.

We aren't Duke, nor do we recruit the same type players. KI is doing well at Rhode Island.
