He came to life when the Troy rabble heckled him and told him he sucked. Maybe that's the key? LOL heckle our own guys.

Troy game chants:
"Ha ha you suck" Monster dunk and monster block.
" Daddy's boy" - Hits a three and gets a steal.
"Smallwood" "Smallwood" - He hits a three and grabs a board.

I heard or maybe read in one of the al.com articles that the plan was to redshirt Smallwood? Is that still the plan after last night, or was that false info. He was pretty slow, but he stroked that 3 confidently and was barely off on another one.. He could possibly be useful in weird foul situations like last night..

Should've had him in the post drawing fouls, or using them up.
