Folks didn't show up for MSU, Purdue, UMass.

They did not sell out the MSU game, but it was heavily attended. Not that it negates your argument. Attendance is pathetic. No matter the quality of opponent or the success of the team. The latter is the most surprising to me. The reasonable improvent/success EMU has had under Murphy should have had some effect on attendance. But has not had any effect AT ALL.

I understand EMU will never sell out the Convo without sustained national rankings and/or tourney success spreading over multiple years. And that just isn't going to happen for a mid major- with a few rare exceptions.

Regardless, the level of attendance is absurd.

Because fans aren't stupid! They quality when they see it! And they aren't seeing it.07-coffee3

Actually the MSU game attendance was VERY disappointing (I forgot the announced attendance).

It was much less than the 3K school children who showed up for the Vermont game.

Thanks Ray! glad to be back. i went to 90% of the home games during the Boone era. if that didn't break me, nothing will.
