Agreed.

Quite honestly, the best thing that can happen for Tulane athletics is for the above-quoted message to be delivered face-to-face by Commissioner Aresco and the other league presidents to Tulane's still-new (since July 2014) president, Michael Fitts. He needs to get an earful, and not just once.

I would say we are the best team ever to play home games at the YMCA.

It's encouraging that fans like you agree. Hopefully something changes. Tulane has so much potential. It's all about Tulane's leadership/decision-makers IMO. Maybe the fear would reverse the mentality/poor decision making.

Wow. SMU is fun to watch. Super active and athletic, and Nic Moore just has a great feel for the game. They lose a ton after this year (and probation certainly doesn't help in recruiting), but it's good to see that they have some talented freshman on the team.

SMU's crap play from tonight probably still puts them in the Top 4 of the AAC. In all likelihood, I think the conference comes down to a tight 3 way battle between UC, UConn, and SMU.

You do realize Tulsa just beat Wichita St. right? To say they don't have a shot is ridiculous.

I missed where I said Tulsa didn't have a shot. Feeling a little sensitive that they weren't included in my opinion?

You said it would come down to three? But no, just pointing out an obvious error in it.

Every regular season game is of special importance to SMU. They are playing the role of spoiler this year and will be tough to beat.

Okay, I'll make you happy. You're right, Tulsa doesn't have a shot. They might finish in the top 8 in the conference, but that probably means they'll be playing way over their heads. A 10th place finish would be an admirable effort by the Golden Hurricane. Does that make you feel sufficiently outraged?

You're probably right. I wasn't sure how they'd come out this year, but it looks like they're going to be playing with a chip on their shoulders. With their talent and experience, along with pretty much the regular season to play for, they'll be a tough out. Do you know if they're eligible for the AAC Tourney? I hope so...

SMU is banned for all post regular season games - including the AAC Tourney.
