Raleigh Springs Mall original stores - can you name them
Just thinking about when times where much easier. Got us on the subject of the Raleigh Springs Mall and trying to name the stores. I got Sears, Penny's, Lowensteins, Hot Sams, Camelot Music, Woolworths, Walgreens, Gridiron, Sultans Castle, the pet store, Bakers Shoes, County Seat, Dino's, Walden Books, gridiron...can't think of any more although there are many. Anybody else remember?

Goldsmith's, Zondervan, Spencer's, Rave, Afterthoughts (the last two might not have been "original, but...)

I could make a buck last a while in Sultan's Castle. Still play pinball when the opportunity presents itself. Looking to buy a vintage.

Yes to all of the above.
There was also the Hickory Farms store as well, down towards Sears.

I never spent much time in Raliegh until 1977, when I worked at the CMC Stereo store there.

In the late 80's it was solid mall.

I remember it being the first Chick FIL A I ate at. My first tv, a Sony, came from Goldsmiths. You had the pizza place other stores I remember was a World Bazzar.
