It's not a bad place... better than El Paso. My in-laws used to have a ranch a few hours away from there.

Went through El Paso at night and all the lights from the Mexico side fooled me. It looked nice. The next week coming back driving through El Paso I through it was the dirtiest, nasty looking city I had ever been through....don't care for El Paso one bit...

Great news for Preston. Will never forget going to the Marshall game at the Forum in Jan. 2011. My wife and I went up to him after the game in the concourse and got a picture taken with him. His parents looked to be very proud that a pair of Tigers fans from Michigan actually knew who their boy was. :)

Yeah, my kids went up to get his autograph and photo after a game in Hattiesburg, and Preston said, "The ones you want photos with are coming out in a minute." He was genuinely humbled that someone wanted his autograph and photo. He and Will Coleman were my kids' favorites from that team.

I'm sure of that. He's a solid Tiger, by the way, who actively supports both basketball AND football. Need more like him.

Just glad that Preston got his good looks from his mom.

Getting to do that stint at Gonzaga didn't hurt any. I was really happy then too.

That was the other white guy on the team, Drew Barham that went to Gonzaga. Preston has been with NMSU since he graduated.
