I take it back, I saw plays out there, some SICK talent. Also saw areas of coaching, position, DC and OC along with some decisions during the game which made me scratch my head, that need some introspection, and improvement ultimately.

These guys are behind the curve, this talent would soak up great coaching and execute, I'm convinced.

So there is steak. Right now it has some grizzle in it where you'd expect marbeling.

Coach Sizzle was getting pretty defensive late in his interview with Creek.

He reminded Creek about his great recruiting class coming in and then about how bad it was when he got here and now we're playing meaningful games, and then blamed it all on himself. It was so phony.

Sounds about right. What sucks is that team he inherited was projected to do well the previous year before key injuries did them in. They had a p5 win and played the Gophers tough. Saying it was bad when he got here really rings hollow when you look at his big contributors last year.

These great recruiting classes? They should adjust them after LOI day for attrition. I'd love to see that ranking.

Wish Rome would just hire him away. 03-puke

His best excuse was when he told Crrek it took Joe Novak 13 years to make NIU a champion. Now he's using his old coach's slow timetable to make his progress look good.

Anyway, I doubt Peej's Monix friend wants to pay him for that long.

That was his way of taking responsibility for the loss.

How bad it was when he got here? It was THE SAME as it is now.

As for being phony. I am still trying to decide if PJ really believes any of the crap that comes out of his mouth. Or maybe more importantly, if he realizes how ridiculous he sounds every time he opens it.
