Uconn weather for Houston game
Lucky for them it's going to be 51 on Saturday and sunny.
I was hoping it would be in the 30's or 40's to give us an edge.
UConn has a lot of motivation to make the playoffs and they are well rested could be a trap game for the Coogs

This is one of the things that makes the AAC unique. Schools like Houston, Tulane, USF, and UCF have to not only deal with the team prep but the elements prep as well when traveling north late in the year.

RE: Uconn weather for Houston game
Looking forward to this game. Hope we have a good crowd. There's speculation over on the UConn board that Houston may bring their band, that would be cool. I like those types of games. I hope our fanbase recognizes that this is a big game.

During UH's bowl game last season the high was 40 and there was 1/2 inch of rain/snow. They've dealt with it before.

I know UConn is fresh of a bye but now they must prepared for two Houston QB's... I also like the fact that this game will be played on true grass rather than turf. I like it.

Go Coogs

UConn is definitely in the playoff conversation! Also, I heard it was gonna be 105 degrees, not a cloud in the sky, with a slight but gentle breeze.

Yep. Not just for the players but the fans as well. I have seen quite a few visiting fans succumb to heat exhaustion in the stands. No one this year thankfully.

Dang, I forgot that the sunset was so quick up north. Gives me more justification of never wanting to live any further than LA, as I never have. That sunset time might as well be like Barrow, AK as far I'm concerned.

And every team north of Dallas has to deal with the abrasive heat before mid-October down this way.

Not us. One good thing about being a Mid-Atlantic team is we can deal with both the cold and heat. 02-13-banana
