Well, we didn't have Dedric last year and our guard play, particularly PG play was not good. D wasn't great either but I did like the overall effort. Our seniors lost this game.

I watched him a lot during the game. He is up constantly, giving direction, pulling over players for advice. Every dead ball or stoppage in play. He is definitely an asset to the staff.

I agree. Thrilled to have him back. Some posters act like he is de facto head coach and/or miracle worker.

It is hard to say when we have had so much turnover...

If we had the same players I think we could say Stoudemire is making a difference, but it could just be these players are better.

Tarrant is a helluva guard. Hard to compare this yr vs last yr since he was not on team last yr.

We look like a team--right off the bat. That's unusual.

great so we go with another unproven guy? That's worked well. He'll be a head coach soon but not at a place like Memphis.

Hopefully he will help them with our glaring weaknesses. FTs, three point shooting and guarding the perimeter. I'd take improvement at any of those 3, but free throws.....come on man.
