Quote:Todd what's the story with jarvion Franklin?? Didn't play against BG last week???

As said in another thread -- Franklin, an awesome RB -- very well may have had an injury, but the last few games, he's fumbled. PJ don't take kindly to that -- especially when our other RBs he recruited are just as good -- and VERY good. It keeps our passing game going well. Franklin was/is a power back with agility -- but the others are no cheapskates -- look out.

Honestly, looking over video leading up to this (and actually up until last week) -- it's OK that Franklin is used sparingly. Our running game has actually only gained a stride. That's the scary part. If folks scoff at that... well.... we have Franklin still. :)

Everything will honestly come down to how one fares against the weather which is going to be weird. Special teams + turnovers. NIU has the advantage -- Vegas knows it comes down to this, with advantage NIU. We are PISSED in Kzoo though (post-BGSU -- at least score 38pts, right??) -- and it's PJ's familiarity, so it's not foreign territory.

Flip a coin -- that's basically what's going to determine who's the winner.

If he's a flake, why would he get "hired away"? You can't have both! It's about working your way thru the water in life & the game!

Fleck is obviously a good recruiter, but the jury is still out on filed coaching IMO. If I was an AD I would not hire him! But there is always someone out there that may have a different opinion. I am fairly certain that the more traditional power programs would not want his antics!

Yes, jury is still out on his coaching. Agreed. However, is there any other small school coach that gets the publicity PJ gets? Is WMU far more interesting today then they were six years ago? Has Fleck put WMU on the national radar?

Sure, PJ makes himself a target for derision and mocking, but perhaps there is a method to his madness. Furthermore, I suspect he would and will tone down his act considerably should he land a "traditional power" job.
