RE: Dedric vs Skal head to head
Dedric has a unique skill set. I think the year and a half off from organized ball has probably hurt Skal. Keith Lee is one of the top 3 Tigers of all time. Some here were comparing Nichols to him a year ago.

RE: Dedric vs Skal head to head
Keith Lee was an All-American three of his four seasons as a Tiger. He was the conference Player of the year his freshman year.

Detric Lawson may be really good before this year is over. He sure looked the part last night. But, comparing him to Keith is rushing it a little IMHO. Let's see how it plays out over a long basketball season.

RE: Dedric vs Skal head to head
Dedric is a mix of Penny Hardaway and Jeremy Hunt....He is gonna be really special and don't sleep on KJ Lawson either....Then Chandler and Jonathan are further along then they were at this age and they too baring no Injuries are gonna be special....Far as Skal goes Dedric is by far the more talented of the two with FAR more upside....He has Natural skills and feel and Handles for a wing, and is a matchup Nigthmare...His shot will get better and better and he is gonna be a bonified star.....The World Is Ours Memphis....

Probably the same ones now trying to prove that he is no good because he decided to transfer.

I think the better our guards slash, shoot, and pass, the better Detrick will be. If teams slough off on him because our guards can't do the above, he might as well be Modibo diarra in the paint.

Skal isn't a one and done IMO. He needs to add bulk to his frame or he'll be eaten alive in the NBA.

RE: Dedric vs Skal head to head
My early guess will be that Dedric will be the third best ever behind Lee and Hardaway, if Rose had played more than a minute, maybe fourth best. He's going to be really good.

Hard to tell with Skal, he's not the lone NBA prospect on his team. Minutes and stats will be harder to come by. For our team, Dedric helps a lot more than Skal would have, but I wish we had them both.

Let us hope...

But you are leaving a lot of guys out who some would argue are close to the 2 you listed.
