They looked great! We might not lose another game.

I know nobody wants to hear it, but its the players, not the coach. And I really like these players!

RE: Great job pastner
We will see when we play a boring arse slow it down 1/2 court team, if this team can play that style then we have something that can do some damage.

This was our type of game, we need to see what happens when someone forces us to play 1/2 court.

Team looked good. Pastner getting Damon back really helped too. You could see the difference in guard play. Gotta give him credit tonight. Team looked good and he didn't stop doing what we working. Hope we keep it up. Love this teams grit.

RE: Great job pastner
He did a good job.

Although the idea that some will ever get beyond the idea that no matter what, when we win, it is the players, when we lose, it is this coach, is a pipe dream.

The zone seemed to work...some of the offense defense switches made sense...free throw coaching was lacking down the stretch.

Team will win a lot...lose some, and the same tired refrain will be waved.

Congratulations.

RE: Great job pastner
Unlike football, 1 or 2 loses early college basketball is not going to kill a team chances of getting into the tournament or prevent a high seed, although knocking off a quality non conference team would be great for the resume. This team can be really good by mid- season if they continue to work on the Defense; find a second go-to guy when Dedric is on the bench and continue to work for open 3s. If a opposing team runs-n-gun with this tiger team then I like the tigers chances every time. The Lawson's are everything as advertise and more!!!

Collectively, we can't shoot. They're fun to watch though.

I was really surprised. The team looked great, and I loved the two different zones pastner ran. It sucks that we lost, but this team will only get better as the freshmen improve.

Lawsons are good. Freshmen mistakes are there but I like their game. We still can't shoot.

I don't care what anybody says. We played good for a whole new team, and the sky is the limit. Go Tigers. A few more free throws, and its a new story.

Comical.

Explain bud..

Damon was here. Memphis guards had a great season. Joe, Chris etc...

Damon leaves, they regress..

Damon is still gone last season, guard play was down again.

Damon comes back, guard play is better.

Care to explain the "comical" comment?
