Toledo-BG preview
This is, without a doubt, the best week for MACtion this year. Toledo-BG tonight, followed by WMU-NIU Wednesday night.

Tonight's Toledo-BG kicks off early - 5:00 PM (CST). Go here for an excellent analysis of the game by MarkL of Ay-Ziggy-Zoomba.com. IMO, BG ends the Toledo streak of 5 straight wins in the series tonight. Huge difference in QB play - Matt Johnson is too damn good and Ely is too inconsistent. I don't think the Toledo defense can slow Johnson down enough to keep them in the game.

Here is another from VegasInsider. Both teams have been real good ATS this season.

Fun game, the turds now up 14-0.

I suppose I should root for BG, but seeing the turds run all over BG makes me realize how good NIU is. Still early, should be a fun game perhaps high scoring.

Dino sticking to that "Let's not play defense" game plan. Let's see how it works out Cotton.

#MACtion is so awesome. I would rather watch this than some stupid ACC game, or Huskie Jebus forbid, a Big Eleventy14 game any. day. of. the. week.

It's early and I think that BG will get their offense rolling.

BGSU fumble.

One of these teams is playing like they've already clinched their division....

Haha, this is embarrassing. BGSU's lack of focus, defense, special teams, and offense is just comical at this point. Amazing what happens when they play against a team with a real defense.

RE: Toledo-BG preview
I think that thxJoe has it right, this games means far more to the Rockets than to BG. That said, how fun would it be to see BGSU come back and win this. They have dug themselves a hole though that will be difficult to climb out of

Huh? You think this is the best defense BGSU has played?

Geez, it's 1 quarter. BGSU is a darn good football team. They'll come back. Toledo is in their head like we're in Toledo's head.

I didn't say best, I meant a competent defense.

Nice to see a packed stadium for a MAC game. Good weather, a rivalry and the proximity of the two schools has helped attendance.
