Good game Pirates. Unfortunately you ran into a buzz-saw last night. Our coaches and players got a fire lit under their ass after the inexcusable loss to Little Rock.

Can't wait to play Cal & West Virginia. We will do our best to stomp on Cal (we despise all PAC 12 teams) for you.

We will be rooting for you the rest of the way.

I saw one silver lining in that game, and that was the play of Deng Riak. He finally got to play some extended minutes and I was impressed with what I saw. Very long, very athletic, looked pretty good on defense in the middle of the zone, and even knocked down a 3. He's raw, but he's got the type of upside that we haven't had in quite a while in the post.

I liked our chances before the UALR but after they won our odds deminished significantly.

We were going to have to be part of back to back losses at home for the first time since god knows when, against an at large bubble team, that's pissed off.

Well I really like the 2 recruits that signed early. Both appear to be the type of shooters we are currently lacking. You are right though we need at least 1 pretty high level post player in this class though, so we'll have to see if Lebo can find that.

We've needed a post player for awhile...>Ive just come to accept we can't bring them to Greenville. I think there is a ton of talent out there at guard and SF...but you can't teach size.... and the limited decent size players have better options that what ECU is offering (perception wise anyway) right now.

Lebo has never recruited big men.

He's recruited them but never lands them. As stated before the list of talented big men isn't that long which is why they have their choice of schools. Lots of smaller schools have made a name for themselves because of great guard play, it can take you a long way. ECU's guard play has been better in recent years we are just missing that consistent shooter that could get us over the hump.

I hope Lebo can manufacture some points here. May need to become a pressing team.
