San Jose State beats Montana 64-61, it's the Spartans' first win over a D1 opponent since February 18th, 2014. They were 0-28 vs D1 opponents last year.

Long Beach State defeats BYU 66-65. I guess that counts as an upset?

Valpo 58
URI 55 (<---was expected to be a challenger for A10 champ, guessing the injury is going to change that for some time)

Dayton 80
'Bama 48

Louisiana College 73
McNeese St. 70

Warner Southern 75
FAU 72

Murray State 76
MTSU 65

Jackson St. 78
Southern Miss 60
Oh, CUSA...

Tiffin was up six over NKU at the half, Howard Payne over Abilene Christian by four, and Malone was one over Cleveland State. These mid-majors might want to rethink the D2 games...

Is the A10 better than the AAC/BE and some P5 conferences? It'll be fun to watch this season.

The jury's still out.

For the A-10, it looks like GWU and Dayton might be strong, but URI might disappoint. Richmond also looks like they've started the season slowly. Davidson/UMass/VCU? No idea at this point.

I'm thinking 3/4 bids at this point. But its early.

AAC already has a good win over Wichita by Tulsa. Memphis looks improved. UConn and Cincy look real good.

BE hasn't had the toughest early schedule- but 7 undefeated teams so far out of 10.

We'll know a LOT more after this weekend. Lots of great games this weekend.

O/t but who will beat the UCONN women? Didn't they just beat the #2 team by 50?

If there are mid-majors with resumes for at-large consideration, they won't likely be coming from many different places. This happens to the top of the Southland every year, it seems. Rack up 25+ wins and go nearly unblemished in the conference, and your RPI tanks because the rest of the conference is still just *so* bad. C-USA's on track to feel it this year alongside Southland.

I've got a close one.

Well, Southern beat Georgia Tech (dominated them is more like it). GT had some pro players too but Avery Johnson (yes, that Avery Johnson) was too much for them. Maybe that Avery Johnson will lose to a SWAC school while at Alabama.

Roanoke 94
NC A&T 87
Roanoke is D3, and it was an exhibition game for them (but counts for A&T). This might be the winner for the season's biggest laugher.

Richmond 91
Wake 82

Akron 88
Arkansas 80
