Kansas St- Iowa St, Kansas, WVU- need to win all 3- agree won't make it
Rice- UTSA, Charlotte- need win both- should make it
Colorado St- New Mexico, Fresno- need win 1- should make it
Utah St- Nevada, BYU- need win 1- should beat Nevada

Rice and Colorado State are both awful. Rice's road to six looks better on paper, but if one looks at how both UTSA got to their record, they lost four games by a possession or less. Yeah, they stunk it up to UNT, but they also played LaTech close. Colorado State...if they're bad enough to barely scrape by UNLV, Fresno will be up for that fight. UNM's getting better as the season goes.

Utah State...I don't know. UNR might be more reachable than BYU, but I doubt either of them are easy for them. USU's weird. They play accordingly to the opponent, making it hard to asses them. Yeah, they could hang with anyone (well, except SDSU), but that isn't saying much in a conference with some bad teams.

Bring it. Let's go baby!

No one wants to take this bet??

Pansies! 04-cheers

(you have to give me 7-1, though. Because three of the games are going to be pretty big underdogs ... maybe not Neb/Iowa, we'll see)

Surprised you didn't throw in Indiana beating Maryland and Purdue, to give the Big Ten 11 eligible teams (both MD and Purdue are already out of the race, along with Rutgers). It's a good thing the B1G's latest additions brought markets, because they sure didn't bring good football teams.

AAC 6
ACC 8
B12 5
B10 7
CUS 4
MAC 5
MWC 5
P12 8
SEC 9
SBC 3
Ind 2

you add in the 23 likely to make it by his count and you get 85 there.

I am a little confused myself.

You are correct, if you add up the # of elligible teams, it equals 62.

But then if you add up the # of likely, those equal 17 total.

62 + 17 = 79.

It is 62 eligible - and 17 likely for 79 spots - I had missed three already eligible, but had them in the likely category. Good Catch.

The B1G West will pull through.

Minn has had an unfair season. Wisconsin isn't going to do anything special in the post-season, so another loss won't matter. So they should have to lose to Minny!
