Final conference ratings for the season
Does anyone know which conference rankings are used in determining the CFP payouts?

I notice that in Sagarin we are nipping at the CUSA's heels (rated higher than the CUSA West and just under the East). If we have a good showing in the bowl I think we might can overtake them.

NCAA uses their own set of rankings separate from all the computer rankings. Bowl games count toward those, and they will be released sometime after the bowl season ends.

NCAA determines CFP payouts?

Didn't realize that.

Yes, they have their own system, sort of similar to RPI. A couple years ago when we won the Top G5 prize, I think every single Computer ranking had us 3rd or 4th...but the NCAA had us 1.
