He clearly made the point in an insulting way. "Car insurance "?

If an opposing coach said something similar about Ohio's players, you wouldn't think it was so benign.

Apparently suggesting that seniors in college will have jobs in a few years is highly offensive. One fan even forwarded it to the NCAA saying they "should come down hard on him for that. These are kids - STUDENT athletes." Can you believe this silliness?

He just noticed that the 9 seniors were all Marketing majors...

Probably because they caused his Ohio players to fold faster than a cheap K-Mart lawn chair.

why are u so butt hurt over Ohio?

Wrong orifice. Pissed off was more like it. As a MAC fan, it was painful watching that lead evaporate over a team that would have been a quality win for Ohio.

Bobcats leading Norfolk St 47-27 at the half, Jaaron Simmons with 10 assists. Bobcats blew 19pt lead yesterday, will see if they can hold lead today.

I watched Toledo roll Loyola in the first half by 15, then get outscored in the 2nd half 45-23 to lose 69-62.

Boothe scored Toledo's first 10 and finished with 29.

Flashes beat Marist 79-72. Hall with 26 & 10, Spicer 9 & 11, Thomas with 16.

The Red Foxes had two guys who combined for 57. One with 30 was a freshman who is averaging 26 ppg. He was making all kinds of shots with guys all over him. Really impressive, especially for a freshman.

Miami beats Northeastern, goes 2-1 on the weekend and wins the inaugural Men Against Cancer Challenge in Oxford. We're now four games into a twelve-day stretch where we play six games (IPFW and UCF coming up).

Huge game.

Akron lost 78-59. The Zips led almost the entire first half, but Villanova scored 9 straight in the final 1:49 of the half, then blitzed Akron to start the second to put it away.

Akron lost big man Pat Forsythe to a broken rib sometime in the first half, and Jake Kretzer left late to a "racing heart". So the injuries are now really mounting up. Looks like the Zips could be down four of their top eight for Tuesday's game against Green Bay, and freshman Josh Williams still probably isn't 100 percent (he's battling back spams).

It got to the point where the Zips had to burn the redshirt of freshman Daniel Utomi.

Hopefully, this team can get healthy by league play.

Oh, please, if you see the entire quote (see below) it's hardly offensive. It's easy to pull quotes out and make them offensive if you want to.

"Twenty-three turnovers. Twenty-three. That’s how it got away.

That just can’t happen. And especially against a good team. What’s sad is we put ourselves in position to get a really good win. I don’t think people around, anywhere, know how good this Tulsa team is.

I watched them kick Wichita State’s butt the other day. They’re good. They’re going to be an at-large type team if they don’t win their league.

You look back, the two things that went wrong: we didn’t take care of the ball and they got out in transition, and we couldn’t play without fouling. Although they had a hard time playing without fouling too.

Disappointing, disappointing. They have nine seniors, we got one. When those guys are selling car insurance, we’ll be winning championships, so.

We got to learn from it, we got to get better."
