Would be nice to close out the revenge tour in style. Too many losses to them of late. I still recall the 2008 loss and the call on the Archer catch. This is the year to close them out. They may be fired up after their close losses.

Both teams banged up, and both defenses showing some holes. Their QB has turned it over some, and we have to get pressure on him. I hope Donald and Harvey are back next week. On offense, we can just do what we have been doing, lots of balance, and wear them down.

Avoid the excessive celebration calls, though I am not sure what event prompts those calls??

Contributions to refs retirement accounts?

Anyway, let's stomp the Spiders next week. They have won too many of the matches we've had with them of late. We need to be up more than one score as the clock winds down.

According to Richmond's message board, apparently Richmond's kicker was injured yesterday and likely will not be available for next game which means a Freshman kicker. Existing kicker was 11-15 in FGs this year (2-4 beyond 40) and 39-41 for PATs.

Backup kicker has 1 kickoff yesterday that went 64 yards.

I'd love nothing more than to go into their stupid little stadium and ruin their day. It's about time the Tribe won one against Richmond when it matters

I listened to their game on the radio as I drove home. They didn't sound terribly impressive and kind of unraveled at the end in crunch time. Special teams missed a PAT that left them up only 6 instead of 7, on another 4th quarter drive the offense went three and out, on Nova's last drive the defense let Nova convert multiple 3rd and long, and the TD was a 12 yard pass on a 4th and long. This combined with the way they screwed themselves up at UNH gets me very, very excited. I think Towson is a better team than Richmond right now.

Zable, we are going to need more attitude than that from you if we are going to continue this revenge tour.

I mostly agree with this. Especially since none of the penalties have been "bad behavior". It's been fired up, motivated players excited to be scoring. I wouldn't want to squash the chip these guys have. A penalty here and there on the kickoff? I'll take it for the fire it shows.

Adding to the games in 2008, 2013 and 2014 where it was win and be in(loser go home), was the 2009 game at City Stadium in Richmond. We played very well and had a chance late to win it, but failed on our attempt to score in Richmond territory with less than a minute to go. The Spiders then took it down the field and kicked a 48 yard FG on the last play of the game to win 13-10. Our only meaningful win in the series recently was 41-3 in 2010 to clinch the CAA title(thanks to a Delaware loss earlier in that day to Villanova).

Should be a great day with the Tribe, Richmond, JMU, Villanova, Towson and New Hampshire all with a lot to play for. It doesn't seem like there are enough at large bids for the CAA to get more than 4 teams in the playoffs.

Only JMU and W&M are in at this point. If Richmond loses to us, they won't get in not because they are 7-4, but because they might end up the 5th CAA team. I know the committee has screwed one CAA team over another(see the Tribe 2008, or the recent year when they took New Hampshire over Towson despite a head to head loss), but you would expect the committee to take Villanova at 7-4 or New Hampshire at 7-4 over Richmond since both defeated the Spiders. Richmond would still make it at 7-4, if 2 of the 3(Towson, NH and Villanova) lose.

For LeadBolt and ZableNoise, if we win this weekend, we can continue the 2014 revenge tour into the playoffs. We will merely rename our tough opponent as "Georgia Southern" for that week(unless it is JMU, we still owe them from 11 years ago, or Villanova).

I'm not exactly sure what Hart/Anderson did yesterday. Can't really judge them. MAS's celebration penalty against JMU was a terrible call. Kendell's against JMU was dumb by him- can't take your helmet off.

We owe Richmond...they've beaten us two years in a row and last year knocked us out of the playoffs.

This Laycock team plays with a ferocious will to win and I believe they are going to whip UR.

I plan on being there to see the culmination of the regular season revenge tour. I would love to get a bye and beat the substitute Ga Sou or JMU to begin the playoff revenge tour. I should be able to make that game as well.

I thoroughly enjoyed Friday night in Raleigh and Halloween in the 'burg. It was nice to show people that even though we're not Waste Management our guys are capable of moping up the floor/field with their team and taking out the trash. Let's do it again in Richmond this weekend!

Anderson's unsportsmanlike conduct play occurred after he ripped off a 10 yard run topped by him obliterating the defender who ended up tackling him. The defender looked like he got run over by a truck, but was able to hang on to KA as his back slammed to the turf. Nice run, 1st down.

KA then stood up, looked down at the defender, and started woofing at him, right in front of the ref. It was too demonstrative, and I wasn't surprised he was flagged. Minus 15. Just dumb, and totally not necessary. Laycock was pretty angry with Anderson, who got yanked for MAS.

On the other hand, ive never seen Laycock so furious as he was with one of his coaches after the Fetters TD, when we got the 15 yards for our bench guys interfering with the ref pursuing the play. Man, was he hot.

I get your point, but I think even Laycock realizes he needs guys like Anderson who play with a lot of passion. On Anderson's TD he trucked the middle of their d-line, so if it costs you a 15 yarder once a game, that doesn't do any harm, then you go with it.

I am a bit tired of the "What a nice young man, he hands the ball to the official then shakes his hand" attitude. That doesn't win you titles, having an "edge" does.
