RE: A Prediction After the Houston Loss

What a season. Bashing even a lousy Kansas on the road, and a thrilling set of wins over Bowling Green and Cincy. The solid pounding of the Bears, and getting to 8-0 and very much in the national conversation.
Tough loss to Navy, when turnovers and some tough offense finally was not enough to overcome a tired defense that resulted in the game getting out of hand late...meaning our first loss in 16 games!!
Team seemed to respond greatly..then fell victim to one of those tragic fourth quarters where every break went one teams way, including a start kicker pushing one right. It happens. We enjoy it when it happens to others. We are now good, and with heightened expectations come disappointments.
But I predict we will head to another bowl...back to back. The knowledge that we gave one away....but only after playing our asses off against an undefeated team. We were on the south side of a fluke.
Three more games. Expect to win them all.
Or...yes...I predict some will let these two games ruin it for them. Which would be a shame. Try not to ruin it for us.
and to think we were ranked like in the bottom 5. at this point fuente is nothing short of a big blessing for the program. God knows sometimes we don't deserve what we have. if we're to hope for more of the same, we best start gettin' our hearts right and show some gratitude.
can I get a witness?

I really think people like you and the OP would rather see us lose so you get to b_tch about other fans being too negative and puff your chest out and lecture us about how to be a better fan, than win.

I don't agree that they are meaningless, but the bowl tie-ins for this conference are pretty sad. The winner of Houston v Navy has a chance to play in Atlanta or Phoenix. The loser will play in one of the X-mas bowls you reference.

Get off this board. Go celebrate your lucky win. Most overrated 10-0 team in history.
If they were overrated, they wouldn't have such a hard time climbing out of the 20's in the CFBP poll.
FWIW, I think Memphis should have won but did whatever it could to let UH hang around the fourth, including the missed FG. Tough luck, UH has been on the other side of it many, many times.

Congrats on your win. Ever heard the expression, rather be lucky than good? Shoe fits, wear it. Cincy/Memphis.

they are. The bowls are slotted based on reputation (after the G5 team is taken) and whom the bowls want. I bet our bowl will be the same regardless of what we do in these last two games.
